Approach

I am a Filipino-American wedding and elopement photographer based in Las Vegas. I grew up in the Philippines, around big family gatherings and a lot of noise, which is probably why a room full of people celebrating has never felt like something to organise.

Before this I worked for years as an ICU nurse. Being with people on the hardest days of their lives teaches you to pay attention to the real thing and to leave it alone when you find it. That is more or less how I photograph a wedding: very little directing, a lot of watching, and no interest in making you perform.

Home is Las Vegas, with my wife Audra, our son Luke and a house full of animals. A good part of the year is spent elsewhere: the desert, the canyon, Napa, Iceland, the Dolomites, and wherever else a couple decides to run off to.

I keep the calendar deliberately small, around twenty to twenty five Las Vegas weddings and ten destination weddings a year, so nobody gets a version of me that is stretched thin. Most couples book six to ten months out, and full galleries land six to eight weeks after the day, with a few favourites sent within a day or two.
